As part of the Cost Action program, the CertBond project // COST Action CA18120 // Reliable roadmap for certification of bonded primary structures has been approved for funding from 2019 to 2023. Focus of the project is on the Adhesive bonding, since it is the most promising joining technology in terms of weight and performance. However, its lack of acceptance is limiting its application to secondary structures. The main reasons for this lack of acceptance are the limited knowledge of their key manufacturing parameters, non-destructive inspection techniques, damage tolerance methodology and reliable diagnosis and prognosis of their structural integrity. Within the working group 4, research will be conducted in the field of monitoring the glued connections of structures, including the application in the field of retrofit of structures. The contribution of Assistant Professor Dr. Marko Marinković will be in the application of glued connections in masonry and reinforced concrete structures.
Participant in the project: Assistant Prof. Dr. Marko Marinković.
